My neighbor just bought his 17 yr old son a brand new camaro rs for his first car. Too bad it wasn't mopar but still american muscle. His dad was out washing it while he was inside watching tv. His dad and i talked for a few minutes about all the things his son wants to do with it.

The dad bought a new Camaro for his son, and then washes it while the kid is inside watching TV? Hmmm...

No seems to respect something until they are payiing for it. I guess that is the down side of having it given to you instead of buying it for yourself.

After it was done being washed the dad took the younger son out for ride. Dad went in to get the kid to say it was done and all ii herd was arguing and dad coming back out telling the younger son he would take him since his brother was being a jerk. Wow gotta love town houses you can hear everything.

Coop, I wouldn't even say that. I'd just wait for him to ask for the car, and just laugh at him...he may look at the car, but NO TOUCHING!

Well tell him NOT to put headers on the car..no no no NOOOOOOOO....A well known company invested $500k trying to improve the exhaust flow and nothing was making it worth it, ie. GM got the exhaust manifold right.

Now, back to the lazy kid....Good for the kid...why? Well obviously the kid is a LOT SMARTER than his father. He not only got his dad to buy him a brand new 306hp Camaro RS, but even gets him to wash it while he watches his cartoons. Smart kid.

As for that father? He needs his head checked....buy your kid a brand new sports car is asking for trouble, especially a kid as ungrateful as his are, (Which would tend to let me believe the apple didn't fall far from the tree).

We shall see if the kid exercises restraint while driving this car, my guess is no, I predict within one year, it will already be dented, have scrapes on the lower front fascia and the wheels will have curb rash, the interior will look wretched with trash laying around etc...

Mark my words.....kids today have no respect cause everything is given to them...no one earns it.
